Farm Member

Previously known as CSA. Let’s simplify things a bit; those 3 letters are hard to remember and almost always used incorrectly, grammatically speaking.

A Farm Membership is about mutual support between the farmers who grow the crops and the members who receive the crops grown. If you purchase a membership with Old Plank Farm (available as a small or large share), you’ll have the opportunity to eat vegetables from our garden all season long. Egg shares are available too. Click on the links below to read details about each membership option.

Your support helps us focus on growing more and better crops with less marketing stress than in a conventional system. Our work and the high quality produce we grow for you will help support a healthy diet and lifestyle for you and your family.

Our delivery season usually runs from mid-June through late October. For 20 weeks you’ll receive 5-10 different vegetables in each weekly box. Additionally, you'll find variety boxes of vegetables at your pick-up site. You will be offered 1-3 additional items to choose from the variety boxes. These "choice boxes" help balance member preferences so that you get more of what you like best! You can read more about the produce we grow by clicking on the membership options below.

We deliver to Sheboygan, Kohler, Port Washington, Fox Point, Mequon, and Shorewood. For a detailed list of member pick-up locations, click here.

Members also receive newsletters which include notes and recipes from Angelica Immel (our harvest manager), and a farm blog by Stephanie Bartel(the farm owner and production manager).

Pizza Member

Don’t miss out on Pizza Season at Old Plank Farm! Come out to the farm on Friday evenings July 12-Sept 27, 2019. We make hand-rolled organic pizza crusts topped with organic pizza sauce, local cheeses, and our organic farm veggies. Cooked to order in our outdoor wood-fired oven. Outdoor picnic seating only.

You must be a member of our farm to attend a pizza night. Becoming a pizza member is easy! It’s just $16 for the 2019 season, and your membership includes one free pizza. Can it get any simpler?

Any additional pizzas during the 2019 season can be purchased on-site for $16 each. (Farm Members do not have to purchase a Pizza Membership, too.)

Old Plank Farm is operated by it’s members as a private social organization, and is strictly open only to members of the farm. It is therefore not subject to licensing or inspection by the health department, the FDA, or the USDA. Products grown or produced by Old Plank Farm are done so in a clean, safe, and healthy manner.
